March 2: Jurassic Bark: 5th Annual Krewe of Barkus Dog Parade and Block Pawty – Laissez les bons temps rouler at Jurassic Bark & the 5th Annual Krewe of Barkus Parade & Block Party, the only parade where you and your furry, four legged friends are the Main attraction! Meet us at 5th & Maple in front of Citygrove Townhomes, 3:00 pm, Sunday, March 2nd!!! One float, dozens of dogs in costumes, bunches of beads, and live music by Michael Beau Xavier. April 11-19: The British Invasion 50 Years Later – An exhibit of archival photography, including many never before seen images, of a glimpse of the group’s public and private lives. Rogers Photo Archive and Argenta Images have an incredibly extensive, intriguing archive of the Fab Four. Images will be divided among seven galleries and restaurants in the Argenta Arts District of downtown North Little Rock. The week long celebration includes art, live music, Tales From the South, film festival, British car show, yellow submarine and more. Visit www.argentaartsdistrict.org for more information.

May 3: Arkansas Times Heritage Whole Hog Roast, Argenta Plaza, 520 Main Street, 5-10p.m. We want to share the celebration of the fine art of cooking a whole hog on a specially constructed outdoor pit prepared by local restaurant chefs. The cooking area is set up to allow guests to observe cooking. Enjoy great food, live music, beer, and wine. Look for tickets available soon.








June 6: Celebrate the Grape Wine and Jazz Festival, Argenta Plaza, 520 Main Street, 6-9 p.m. Join us for Arkansas Times Celebrate the Grape, an evening of wine, food and jazz. We’ll feature more than 200 wines; delicious food from local chefs and live music from Lagnaippe featuring Genine Perez.


August 22: Arkansas Times Latino Food and Music Festival, Argenta Plaza, 520 Main Street, 6-9 p.m. Enjoy a night of delicious Latin food, wonderful atmosphere, live salsa music, and even better company. Sample dishes prepared by food vendors from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico & Columbia!








September 27: Big Dam Bridge 100 Finale Festival, 300-500 Main Street, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. – The Big Dam Bridge 100 Finale Fest end of tour event is growing into the best End-of-Tour bicycle event in the country.  The event caters to Tour participants and their guests offering special activities, services, foods, entertainment and shopping opportunities that are certain to please the riders their family friends and sightseers.




October 24: Arkansas Times Craft Beer Festival, Argenta Plaza, 520 Main Street, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. The Arkansas Times Craft Beer Festival offers All-You-Care-To-Taste sampling of over 250 American Craft Beers from 50 Brewers. Local restaurants provide delicious food samples to compliment the beer sampling at no additional charge plus great live entertainment. Come by and have a sip or two!
