2012 Tulip Festival Blooms in Argenta
The Argenta Arts Foundation has partnered with P. Allen Smith , the City of North Little Rock and the Argenta Downtown Council to celebrate Spring of 2012 with 28,000 Pink and Purple Tulips in downtown North Little Rock's Argenta Arts District from March 7-31st.
P. Allen Smith is the Presenting Sponsor along with his partners VanZyverden; ProMix and Jobe's Organics for the Argenta Tulip Festival.
To kick off the celebration, a press conference will be held March 7 at 9:30am at North Little Rock City Hall located at 300 Main Street, Argenta Arts District, downtown North Little Rock.
The Argenta Tulip Festival events will include;
March 10 - 31 - Argenta Flower & Garden Mart each Saturday from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
March 14 - Argenta Arts Foundation Awards Reception honoring Linda and Paul Leopoulos at the Argenta Community Theater
March 16 - 3rd Friday Argenta Art Walk
March 17 - St. Patrick's Day Parade
March 19 - 24 Argenta Restaurants will feature specials all week.
March 22 - Argenta Film Series at the Argenta Community Theater
March 13, 20, & 27 - Tales From the South each Tuesday night at Starving Artist Cafe.

Argenta Invites You to Restaurant Week
January 9-22, 2012, Argenta restaurants roll out some of their best creations in special $8 2-course lunch, and $25 3-course dinner prix fixe menus, along with their regular menus. Extended to two weeks for 2012, the four year old celebration is a bi-annual event that showcases the Argenta Arts District in downtown North Little Rock as a premier dining and arts destination.
Participating restaurants include Cornerstone Pub and Grill, Cregeen's Irish Pub, Reno's Argenta Cafe', Ristorante Capeo, Starving Artist Cafe', Riverfront Steakhouse, Benihana and Argenta Market.
We are continuing the popular Diner Drawings where patrons may enter to win prizes each time they dine at a participating restaurant during Argenta Restaurant Week. The Grand Prize winner will receive beautiful jewelry valued at $500 from Stanley Jewelers and Gemologists. Free Rides, Merchant Deals During Downtown Holly Trolley Day
The RiverRail Trolley will host its Holly Trolley Day on Saturday, December 17, 2011; sponsored by the North Little Rock Visitors Bureau, Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, Downtown Little Rock Partnership, Argenta Arts Foundation, and Central Arkansas Transit Authority. The Trolley will offer FREE rides in downtown North Little Rock and Little Rock from 8:30 a.m. to Midnight. Also, The Argenta Farmers Christmas Market will be set up from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Celebrate the holiday season by spending time with your family and friends while enjoying the special promotions available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.at the various shops, restaurants, galleries, and businesses along the trolley route. Ride the River Rail Trolley to receive your FREE Trolley Promotional Card, which you must present at the following businesses in order to receive your Holly Trolley Special.
