Area Ranked in “Best Performing Cities”

The Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area climbed an impressive 74 positions in Milken’s 2011 “Best Performing Cities” Index to land at No. 19. The area was ranked fifth in wage growth and 12th in output growth. Milken notes that local universities serve as a magnet for companies seeking educated workers and relatively lower costs.
